  • Do you have a location day Minimum?
You will find that most hair and makeup artists do have a location minimum in our area. Our artists tediously clean and pack gear, travel, set up and breakdown a 'beauty bar' at your location each wedding. Many of our artists also travel with a chair and ring light. All of this is additional work, as you can imagine, than just arriving at a salon where everything is stored away and within easy reach. Our Location Day Minimum in Services is $750 per artist reserved. Our Minimums do not include travel, lashes or gratuity. The consult/ trial ( which is booked a different day entirely) is a separate cost and billed separate for our booked brides only.
  • How do I know how many artists I need to reserve?
Each of our services is approximately 30-45 minutes long. A Hair Service or a Makeup Service is 1 service. Hair and Makeup are considered 2 services. In our experience, each of our artists can manage up to 9 services. This will work out to be a ready time of about 4.5 hours. Approximate suggestions (this is based on your move in time at the venue, or our start time, and photographer photography ready time) 6-9 Services: 1 Artist 10-16 Services 2 Artists 17-24 Services 3 Artists 24-30 Services 4 artists If your ready time is short, you may need an additional artist to complete the timeframe.
  • Does the consult or the gratuity count towards the minimum to book an artist?
It is $750 minimum in wedding day services to book one artist, gratuity does not count toward the minimum. The consult is a separate day and time, and cost, and is also optional. It does not go toward the wedding day minimum. A Service: a Hair Style or Makeup application. Hair and Makeup are considered 2 services.
  • What is a COI- do you have one?
It has become very common for venues to request all of your vendors' 'COI', AKA Certificate of Insurance. We are an insured wedding business and our artists are covered while on-location working for us under our policy. We will absolutey provide this to your venue at their request.
  • When will my Artists arrive on the Wedding Day?
We will create an organized timeline from start to finish based on specific details we will ask you and collect on a questionaire at 3 months from the wedding. You will know exactly when the team will arrive and finish, and can share that timeline with your venue, coordinator and photographer months in advance of the big day.
  • I am a individual bride, and would like services just for myself - is that possible?"
Our minimum in services is $750 for location, even just for one person.
  • Should I book a Bridal Consultation AKA Bridal Trial?
About 99% of our brides do decide to do a trial. We schedule all of our trials with the artist/s that you will be working with on your wedding. Trials also known as a consultation, are completed in our studio only. We suggest about 3 months before the wedding. We do send a detailed email to our brides about trials at 6 months from the wedding so they can begin to plan their time. We do not offer weekend trials due to weddings, and we book our trials 10am-4pm in general. Makeup trial is 1 hour long Hair trial is 1 hour long Hair and Makeup trial is 2 hours long
  • Can I use my Trial for my Bridal Portraits or Engagement Photos?
A trial is a chance to try makeup looks, and hair styles that you may be making changes too at the session to get an idea for the wedding day. Therefore, it is not recommended to use the trial for photos afterwards. We do recommend booking all other sessions separately so you will look the freshest for photos. We do not coordinate those with your wedding day artist, so you are welcome to book Engagement or Bridal Portraits with any of our team here in the Studio. They can accommodate week day bookings only, unless the schedule shows otherwise, they do make their own schedules in studio.
  • Can I get a Trial Before Booking?
Booking a trial/consult entails us coordinating with the one special artist on our team that will be working with you on the wedding day specifically. This requires time and coordination of schedules and often a 2-4 week waiting time to get in with that particular artist. Unfortunately, due to the number of date requests from brides trying to book in 2022, we are unable to hold artists waiting on uncontracted bridal trials. If you do not have a contract with us we will not be able to offer a trial prior to booking. We are sorry!
  • What is a service and are both hair and makeup considered 1 service?
A Service: a Hair Style or Makeup application. Hair and Makeup are considered 2 services.
